Rita brings over 25 years of in-depth experience as a relationship expert. Her education in Social Work and Psychology at San Diego State University. along with her years of training and development in transformational programs has given her a strong foundation in working with people powerfully and successfully.

Rita is known for her unique ability to be both straight forward and compassionate. An outstanding guide and teacher, she trusts participants inherent ability to consciously relate. At the same time, she takes the mystery out of how to relate successfully and brings ease, safety and warmth to the whole arena. Her refreshing and loving approach to relationships gives others renewed joy and connectedness in their lives.

She is the President of Empowering Women as Leaders (EWL), a not-for-profit organization that provides scholarships and mentoring for non-traditional age women to complete college. She is also a member of the Sierra Club and Noetic Sciences. She has been married 28 years, has two grown daughters and four grandchildren and a great grandchild due in August of 2010.
