DeDe’s Story

Performing and being in front of an audience has always felt like home for DeDe Murcer Moffett. From an early age DeDe performed for the kids in the neighborhood at the bicycle hill near the creek signing “Give me a ticket for an airplane” with her best friend Kelly. Later she gained lead roles in high school musicals and won top honors for vocal performances and acting.

DeDe went on to gain a vocal performance scholarship to Oklahoma City University studying with some of the most elite vocal teachers in the country, teachers that launched students like Broadway Star Christen Chenoweth, Miss America Susan Powell and Opera singer Leona Mitchell.

Although DeDe was destined to be a top performer she left the music industry due to extreme fears and lack of self worth and chronic anxiety. DeDe’s next starring role would be as a top producer in the corporate world of sales where she was certain that money would overcome her feelings of doubt that kept her from realizing her full potential and dream. Although highly successful and monetarily rich DeDe would begin a long love affair with alcohol abuse to numb out the knowing she wasn't living her dream. Due to the alcohol addiction much of the passions and desires of the soul would remain buried until 2007 when she had her last painful drunk that finally ended the drinking cycle. Just two months from her wedding to fiancé Rick Moffett and the end of a 24 year struggle.

That was DeDe’s Snap Out of It! moment. This would be her turning point. A turning point that stripped away all the fear doubts and anxieties of the past allowing the authentic DeDe to re-emerge and begin using her voice to heal and ultimately find her power!

Her passion for performing was re-ignited and in 2009 DeDe released her debut CD “I Believe”. A compilation of inspirational songs that helped her recover and heal the past. DeDe went on to found Snap Out of It! Womens Network & Conference, Snap Out of It! Radio Network and the Wake Up, Stand Up and Snap Out of It! Leadership program which brings awareness, tools and techniques to shift your life from the numbing mundane to a rich vibrant passion filled existence.

Today DeDe is a highly sought after transformational entertainer and voice of powerful change! In 4 short years DeDe has put the mindset of change into action and positioned herself on the stage of the NBA Thunder and the New York Yankees singing in front of over 10 Million people and working with celebrities like Lisa Oz, wife of Dr. Oz.   DeDe is a standout as a commercial voice artist with her rich and compelling voice  and a Keynote Speaker/Entertainer weaving her humor, music, dance and acting into the message of "Getting Out of Your Own Way".  DeDe educates the audience on the power of confidence, clarity and courage and how to implement the techniques necessary to stop sabotaging yourself and once and for all obtain success!    DeDe can be heard weekly on the "The Snap Out of It!
